To plan, deliver and evaluate a national social media campaign for the 2016 October Festival.

Shake Social were successful in winning the tender for this high profile campaign, and worked in partnership with the Council’s communications & marketing team and Experience Nottinghamshire on a communications and marketing campaign designed to attract overnight visitors to Nottingham during the month of October to enjoy the wide range of festivals and events.


As a result of our strategic planning and campaign building, we exceeded all targets set, with social media reach increasing by over 500% from 2015.

We implemented an engaging multi-platform approach in line with campaign branding that focused on data collection, competition entries and encouraging visitors to spend more whilst in the city. Over half a million people attended events during the month of October as a result.
